History

The castle from the 16th century is part of the village. The castle was built in the Renaissance style by Jan Rafael Chroustenský of Malovary. Chroustenští lost his property in 1624 when the chateau was handed over to the Collalto family. The chateau underwent a Baroque reconstruction in the 18th century which mainly concerned interiors. Collaltos owned the castle until 1918, when the property was confiscated by the government.

After 1948 the chateau was owned by the municipality, and social and cultural events were held there. At the beginning of the 1990s the building underwent restitution but after a short time the castle was sold to the new owner. Since 1997 the chateau and adjacent grounds secured by a wall have been held as a place for sadomasochistic femdom games under the name Other World Kingdom. There is no access to the castle for public. The castle was offered for sale in 2008, but no sale took place.
