Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2000
The final took place at the Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen on 19 February 2000 and was hosted by Natasja Crone Back and Michael Carøe. The winner was selected over two rounds of voting. In the first round, the top five entries were selected by televoting to proceed to the second round. In the second round, the results of the public televote were revealed by Denmark's four regions, with the televoting figures of each region being converted to points. A fifth set of votes were the votes of an expert jury, which had a weighting equal to the votes of a single televoting region. This led to the victory of "Smuk som et stjerneskud" performed by Brødrene Olsen with 58 points.[1]
