HESA Yasin

Yasin (jet) (Persian: یاسین) is an Iranian modern training jet which was unveiled on October 17, 2019. This domestically-manufactured training jet has been put into operation. The length of this aircraft is 12 meters[1] and its height is 4 meters.[2]

The weight of Yasin[3][4][5][6] is 5.5 tons and is able to fly up to 12 kilometers. The wing's design enables the jet to land/take-off at a speed of at least two hundred kilometers per hour.[7] The aircraft has been designed and built[8][9][10] by Iranian Armed Forces specialists and is purposed to be utilized for training-fighter pilots.[11]

Unveiling

Yasin training jet[12][13][14] which is also used for "CAS-Operations",[15] was unveiled[16][17][18] during a ceremony in Shahid Noje Airbase in Hamadan Province on October 17, 2019, that was by the attendance of high-ranking Iranian officials among Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General, Amir Hatami, Iran's Air Force Brigadier General commander Aziz Nasirzadeh and vice-president for science/technology affairs Sorena Sattari.[19]
