Career
Major is based in Washington D.C., but is originally from Carroll County in central Maryland. He is originally from Woodbine, Maryland and went to South Carroll High School. Major says that he was initially inspired to become a magician after seeing David Copperfield on television as a teenager.[1]
He appeared on the Oxygen network's reality show Love Games and Inside Edition, where he was dubbed "Washington D.C.'s Hottest Bachelor."[2] According to Fox, Max Major, uses a combo of magic, psychology, hypnosis and suggestion to demonstrate the untapped powers of the mind [3] He has appeared on radio and television where he has performed feats such as predicting the winners of March Madness.[4]
In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 he was voted "D.C.'s Best Performance Artist" by Washington City Paper.[5][6]
He appeared on America's Got Talent (season 15).[7]
