Orange-billed lorikeet
The orange-billed lorikeet (Neopsittacus pullicauda) is a species of parrot in the family Psittaculidae. It is found in New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.

Taxonomy and systematics
There are three subspecies of this parrot:
- N.p. pullicauda,
- N.p. alpinus,
- N.p. socialis[2]

Diet
It feeds on pollen, nectar, flowers, fruits and uncommonly seeds.[2]
Reproduction
Its breeding season is in October. It lays eggs in clutches of 2 eggs.[2]
