Wunpost, California
Wunpost is an unincorporated area in Monterey County, California.[1] It is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 5.5 miles (8.9 km) northwest of Bradley,[2] at an elevation of 495 feet (151 m).[1]

Local tradition has it that the town name honors a Chinese worker killed there during the construction of the railroad.[2]
Climate
This region experiences warm (but not hot) and dry summers, with no average monthly temperatures above 71.6 °F. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Wunpost has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate, abbreviated "Csb" on climate maps.[3]
