Rudauli is one of five assembly constituencies in the Faizabad (Lok Sabha constituency). Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 271 amongst 403 constituencies.
As of march 2020, this seat belongs to Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Ram Chandra Yadav who won in last Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Lagislative Elections defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Abbas Ali Zaidi by a margin of 31,259 votes.[1]
