1950 Wyoming gubernatorial election

The Wyoming gubernatorial election of 1950 took place on November 7, 1950. Incumbent Republican Governor Arthur G. Crane, who succeeded to the governorship after Democrat Lester Hunt was elected to the U.S. Senate, retired rather than run for a full term. Republican U.S. Representative Frank A. Barrett defeated Democratic former U.S. Representative John J. McIntyre in the general election.
