Egremont, Alberta
Egremont is a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada within Thorhild County.[1] It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) north of Highway 28, approximately 37 kilometres (23 mi) north of Fort Saskatchewan. It is named after Egremont, Cumbria.[2]

As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Egremont recorded a population of 48 living in 27 of its 34 total private dwellings, a change of 14.3% from its 2011 population of 42. With a land area of 0.19 km2 (0.073 sq mi), it had a population density of 252.6/km2 (654.3/sq mi) in 2016.[3]
