History

It will host a variety of content from Disney's studios, primarily general entertainment content (including programs for mature audiences) not carried on Disney+, as well as live sports from ESPN. The platform will include content from ABC Signature, 20th Television, FX, Freeform, and the 20th Century, Searchlight, Touchstone, and Hollywood Pictures studios. Star+ will serve a similar purpose to the upcoming Star hub which will be integrated into the Disney+ service in several other countries starting February 23, 2021.[1][2][3]
