Wierre-Effroy is situated some 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Boulogne, at the junction of the D232 and D234 roads.

- The church of St.Pierre, dating from the twelfth century.
- The church of St.Laurent at the hamlet of Hesdres, dating from the twelfth century.
